
Amy Wilcox is senior music education major studying clarinet. She has been a member of MENC for the past three years, and she has held the positions of both Webmaster and Vice-President. she is also active in Residence Life at TCNJ and has been a Community Advisor for the past two years and a member of TCNJ's Wind Ensemble. Amy is looking forward to hosting the 2008 Collegiate Convention at TCNJ this February, as well as overseeing the board and committees while they strive to provide students with various opportunities to further their knowledge in music education. After TCNJ, Amy hopes to attend graduate school for music education.
Laura Dunn is a sophomore music education major studying clarinet with Professor Roger McKinney. She is a member of the TCNJ Wind Ensemble.
This is Laura's second year as a member of MENC. Last year, she was a general member, and this year she serves as the Vice President. Laura is also the 2007 Faculty Gala chairperson. Laura is looking forward to MENC once again hosting the Faculty Gala, and continuing to provide educational opportunities for the members of TCNJ MENC through their meetings, guest speakers, and other activities.
Cheryl Glitz is a senior music education major. Her main instrument is the clarinet, but she enjoys playing whatever she can get her hands on! Cheryl has been a member of MENC since her freshman year and a member of MSA (Music Students Association) since her sophomore year. She enjoys taking an active role in the music community of TCNJ. After graduation, Cheryl's goal is to pursue her masters degree in music education at the University of North Texas!
Dave is a senior saxophone player at The College of New Jersey finishing up his music education degree. He has been involved with MENC for the past four years in a variety of leadership positions including President and Vice-President of the TCNJ chapter. Dave has coordinated the collegiate volunteers for the NJMEA Convention for the past two years and this year also plans to bring people together as a state senator. He plays alto saxophone in the TCNJ Wind Ensemble, works for the marching and jazz bands at Immaculata High School, and has coordinated the TCNJ Honors Band and annual marching competition for the past two years. Dave plans to continue his career in music education and advocacy by getting his MBA.
Matthew is currently a Sophomore at The College and is a Computer Science major. He plays trumpet, piano, and some guitar, and has sung in the College Chorale. This is his second year as TCNJ MENC Webmaster.
Matthew is serving as the Webmaster for TCNJ MENC. His resposibilities include the design, implementation, and regular maininence of this website. He'll also be helping the other board members with various other things throughout the year. Matthew hopes the new website will contribute to improved communication between TCNJ MENC members and between our chapter and other MENC chapters throughout the state.
